I bought one of these for my mother and myself. We are forever breaking trowels, but I do not think there is any way we can break it. The handle on the neck is very nice as well and he has measuring marks on the blade for planting bulbs and others. It is more expensive because you can get trowels to the dollar store, but when you break ten of them you spent the money even if you just bought it to start without many trips the grocery store.
