Sockets are in my opinion a very serious point of the tool line SK. To the point - SK makes, in my opinion, some of the best made professional quality anywhere, regardless of brand or price. Point blank - period - they are comparable with the best, and as good as it gets.

In my personal toolbox that I literally hundreds of sockets. The standard height - tall - chrome - impact - 1 / 4 to 3 / 8-1 / 2 - your name - if you need to work on a car - good luckit is there. I Snap-on sockets, from Mac Tools, Matco, and Cornwell. And I took from SK. I would say SK sockets make up at least 25% of all the sockets I own - and they are absolutely fantastic. They grip bolts with rounded corners with ease. They turn everything sockets Big Boys turn. I put my impacts on 1 / 2 inch Dynabrade pneumatic guns without distorting impact on the square attachment hole. What can I say? They work! They hold up! And theydo everything and anything you ask them to do.

The WORST think I can say about them is that you can scratch the chrome on the catch of deep wells, for example, if you use them to loosen a lug nut on a wheel. I do not mean by scratch - just a superficial mark on the chrome itself. Now, if you used the effects instead - not a problem. I just need a thin wall socket because of clearance on a Porsche, and noticed that later. Probably one of the other - notimportant brand - has also scored - and I do not criticize him for that. Their Chrome seems to be as hard and as thick as any on my snap-ons or Mac.

Overall - a product featuring stellar - at a price the average homeowners can afford. I give this product 5 stars - only because I can not give it 6 ......
